Lady Vansittart Multicolor Camellia Japonica – 3 Gallon Pot

I did not know what to expect ordering a plant through the mail. I opened the box hesitantly and was amazed to find a beautiful, lush plant which already contained buds! We planted it and to date, it has adapted well and seems to be happy with its new home. I’m so looking forward to it growing and budding. I believe it will be stunning. I will definitely purchase from your company again and have already referred this fine company to friends! I’ve only had this Camellia for a few weeks now. My main concerns with mail order plants are apparent health and secure packing. This plant arrived looking great, budded, and very well protected during its trip with well designed and executed packing. It is in my hobby greenhouse now, looking very healthy. Very impressed with how quickly we received our Camellia plant. It was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. We planted it in the yard according to instructions and it is thriving! It’s a young plant but has already grown a few inches since planting about a month ago. Looking forward to see what colors bloom. We purchased a 3 gallon Lady Vasittart Camellia last October that arrived in good shape and loaded with buds. The buds didn’t open until February 6. Then the freeze came and I thought it would kill the remaining buds, but it didn’t. The buds did open, however they weren’t as pretty as the ones before the freeze. Even though the description says the flowers are 4 inches I somehow pictured them being a little bit bigger. I would definitely recommend this plant to Camellia lovers. My sister’s FL camellia garden was vandalized, and many old trees were destroyed…breaking her heart, as they were a legacy from our mother. So I sent her a 3-gallon pot of Lady Vansittart as a Christmas gift, and she was thrilled when it arrived within 3 days of my ordering it. She called me and described it as already about 4 ft. tall, with lots of buds ready to burst open. She is keeping it inside on her screened-in patio for a few months, for the sheer pleasure of watching it bloom right away and she will transplant it to her camellia garden in the spring. She had been so afraid she would never witness the camellia’s lovely blooming again, and now she is ecstatic! Thank you for sending her such a healthy, well-grown specimen.
